THANK YOU REILEY FAMILY!!!! Karen (aka Pecker) Brigg, Caitlin & Eve live on a very magical spot Stony Creek. We borrowed a nice mooring off Cut In Two island in the Thimble Islands. The Thimble Islands are pink granite and constantly compared to Maine Islands. They are beautiful and covered with beautiful very private homes so sadly no public access me but fun to look at. Karen & Brigg have a beautiful house with a fenced in yard which we LOVED for the dogs (until they met the resident skunk while we were trying to get out the door). The weather was very settled so we could easily leave the boat unattended and sleep in amazing beds with DRY COTTON SHEETS! So great to see Eve and Catie in their natural environment, it was sooooo awesome to catch up with them as a senior and a sophomore kicking ass on the field hockey team and at school.
Highlight of this visit was the Reiley cat, Sabrina, she’s BAD ASS! First glance at the dogs and it was ON! Big long howl-meows followed by out right attacks! I’ve been dreaming of the day our dogs get their asses licked by a cat! Ronda never did it (which was her loss!). Les’s cats didn’t do it during the 5 weeks we lived with them this summer. Now I can say the mutts are appropriately scared of cats!! If she would get NEAR one of them, the dog would start yelping as if it was being murdered🤪
We had an amazing walk all over Stony Creek, lunch out in New Haven and fun visit to the Yale Art Museum before watching Catie & Eve kick another school’s ass in field hockey. Topped off with Pepe’s pizza!
Peck hooked us up with yummy food, great hand me down clothes, beading supplies etc! THANK YOU REILEY’S SOOOOO MUCH!
