Annapolis Boat Show
We had a really fun time at the Annapolis boat show, got to meet a bunch of other Liveaboards and some kids too!!! We had hot sunny weather then COLD cloudy windy weather. Had a lot of fun plus got some boat projects done. We toured amazing expensive brand new boats, soak in the whole culture of sailing, research cool gear and even buy some needed boat items.
We got to meet so many very very friendly, warm, open people welcoming us into the Liveaboard Community!
Pic below of Team Spite. I copied their team motto here:
“In spite of barriers, we give women the chance to lead.
In spite of gatekeeping, we open doors to the highest levels.
In spite of competitive pressure, we put joy first.
In spite of when you start, grit matters more than pedigree.”
We ended our Annapolis adventure at Ben’s cousin David Willauer (Dowzer) and kathy. They have a BEAUTIFUL home on the Severn River just up from Annapolis. Their son Archer and his fiancé Jake cooked a delicious dinner. We loved snuggling the 4 HUGE FLUFFY Russian Ragdoll cats and the most perfect lab to ever exist, Kota😍😻. Thank you team Willauer for the very special night!
