Visitor count unavailable

About this count

This counts unique recognized browsers across the entire site, not people or page views. Shared browsers count once. Other devices, or cleared or expired cookies, can count separately.

Counting requires cookies, JavaScript, and a modern browser with Web Locks support to prevent simultaneous tabs counting twice. Older browsers display the total without contributing. Privacy opt-out signals are respected. Known bots, previews, and signed-in authors are excluded where identifiable, but bot detection is not perfect and some real visits may be missed.

A random first-party cookie is retained for up to a year and renewed on return. Only its hash is kept in visitor records: no fingerprinting, IP addresses, or browsing history. IP addresses are used temporarily in memory only for abuse rate limiting.

Counting starts with the first qualifying public browser confirmation; no historical estimates are seeded. The displayed start date uses UTC.
